Job title: Conservation technician, entry level position.
Suitable candidates: Fine art and art history majors, or students enrolled in conservation program.
Duties include: Documentation, condition reports, assisting conservator with conservation treatments. Wide range of materials such as: paintings, works on paper, and sculpture. Art handling, frame removal and refitting. Wrapping and packaging for transit. Assist in maintaining studio and ordering supplies.
